Owner, Graphic Designer, Writer, Illustrator, Campaign Strategist
    Alternative Designs offers non profits and small businesses communication consultation services including graphic design, copy writing, illustration, campaign and fund raising planning. Clients' ideas are brought to life utilizing a wide range of print and web software. Varied and diverse projects include identity development, logos, annual reports, capability brochures, newsletters, fund raising campaigns, web sites, business cards and billboards. Campaign strategy for clients includes print, advertising, direct mail and web site development. Alternative Designs strives to creatively meet communication goals while staying within budget without sacrificing aesthetics, quality or effectiveness.

    Responsibilities included: meeting with clients, accessing communications needs, meeting budget requirements, creating concept, design, illustration, writing, and layout, and supervising printing.
MPIRG - Minnesota Public Interest Research Group 1978 to 1979
Staff Artist, Production Manager for "State Watch" Newsletter
    Responsibilities included: illustration for a variety of publications, layout and design of MPIRG legislative reports, booklets, books and posters. Responsibilities as Production Manager included: layout design, typesetting and production supervision, selection of photography and creation of original artwork for each issue.

    Responsibilities included: creation of all graphic required for slide and video tape presentation, layout and design of various brochures, booklet and poster for administration and faculty.
